Inspired by traditional herbal preparations, Timber Hills Trading Co. Plantain Body Balm is a rich, nourishing balm handcrafted to moisturize, soften, and comfort dry, hardworking skin.

Each batch begins with plantain (Plantago major) hand harvested from our Iowa acreage and carefully infused into jojoba oil using traditional herbal methods. We then combine the infused oil with beeswax, shea butter, mango butter, squalane, vitamin E, lavender essential oil, and frankincense essential oil to create a smooth, conditioning balm with a naturally earthy botanical character.

Our Plantain Story

Plantain (Plantago major) has a long history of traditional use in herbal preparations for skin care and everyday topical applications.

We honor that tradition by harvesting the plant ourselves, preparing it by hand, and slowly infusing it into oil before blending each small batch of balm.

Ingredients

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Plantago Major Leaf Extract, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Squalane, Tocopherol, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Boswellia Carterii (Frankincense) Oil.

Directions

Massage a small amount onto clean, dry skin wherever additional moisture and conditioning are desired. Allow the balm to absorb naturally and reapply as needed.

Storage & Care

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Natural butters and oils may soften in warm conditions. If this occurs, allow the balm to return to room temperature.
