Where are your products made?
Every Timber Hills Trading Co. product is handcrafted in small batches in Iowa. We take pride in carefully formulating, blending, and packaging each product with an emphasis on quality, consistency, and craftsmanship.
Are your products handmade?
Yes. Every product is made in small batches using carefully selected botanical ingredients. Small-batch production allows us to maintain high quality and attention to detail in every item we produce.
Do you use natural ingredients?
We use a combination of premium botanical ingredients, essential oils, plant-based oils, and carefully selected cosmetic ingredients to create products that perform well while remaining true to our commitment to quality. Each product label contains a complete ingredient list.
Do you harvest your own botanicals?
Whenever possible, yes. We hand-harvest select botanicals, including cleavers, from our Iowa acreage when they are at their peak. Other ingredients are sourced from trusted suppliers who meet our standards for quality and sustainability.
Are your products tested on animals?
No. We do not test our finished products on animals.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Everyone's skin is different. We recommend performing a small patch test before using any new skincare product. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Can I use your Botanical Outdoor Spray on children?
Our Botanical Outdoor Spray is not recommended for children under 3 years of age. Always supervise children during application and avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and broken skin.
Can I use your products on my dog or cat?
Unless specifically labeled for animals, our products are intended for human use only. Many essential oils can be harmful to pets, particularly cats. Please consult your veterinarian before using any botanical products around animals.
How should I store your products?
Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Keeping containers tightly closed will help maintain freshness and product quality.
How long will my products last?
Most of our products have a shelf life of approximately 12 months after opening when stored properly. Refer to the product label for additional information.
Do your products contain preservatives?
Products that contain water, aloe vera, or other water-based ingredients include an appropriate preservative to help maintain product safety and stability. Anhydrous (water-free) products may not require preservatives.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes! We currently ship throughout the United States using USPS. Shipping options are available during checkout.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.
What is your return policy?
Because of the personal nature of our skincare products, we cannot accept returns of opened or used items. If your order arrives damaged or there is an issue with your purchase, please contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we'll do our best to make it right.
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Yes! We welcome inquiries from boutiques, farm stores, garden centers, and other retailers interested in carrying Timber Hills Trading Co. products. Please contact us for wholesale information.
Do you make medical claims about your products?
No. Our products are intended for cosmetic and personal care use only. Any references to traditional botanical uses are provided for educational purposes and are not intended as medical claims.
